India: capital of suicide

                     I read daily news papers and found that per day a suicide case reported in the news papers.  Some readers read it like other news items but being a sincere citizen, I always think why people takes so drastic steps and leave their family members in full of tears.  

                     I think, what there were no way except 'suicide'.  We live in a society where challenges are a daily phenomenon in one's life.  In my opinion, to face the challenges is bravery and 'suicide' a 'cowerdness' step.

                      In India, all knows, every years in every states farmers & others choose suicides due to drought, flood, poorness, unemployment, financial crunch, domestic violence, unfulfilled romances, huge debt burdens, failure of crops, higher expectations in our life, Divorce, Dowry, illegitimate pregnancy, extra-marital affairsare are main reasons. Now-a-days students commiting suicide in stress due to pressure of study and competition in the life.

                       This time, there is recession in whole world.  Our country also a victim of 'recession'.  Share markets crashed & economic position of our indian brothers are in loss of several thousands crores.  In this circumstances, several people committing suicides.  

                       National Crime Records Bureau reported that every three cases of suicides in every 15 minutes in the country.   Todays life have become tough that leads to commit suicide.  There are reports that one lakhs lives are lost every year due to suicide in our country.   It is also reported that 60% of people have been affected by the the suicide of a friend & family.  

                       Social changes or modernization have lead stress in life, leading substantially higher rates of suicide.  Privatization leading in-security,  and breakdown of joint family system leads loss of emotional support & stability in one's life also others important reasons in cases of suicides.

                       Here I think, that there are no debate on growing cases of suicide in India.    Actually in our country 'suicide' is perceived as a social problem in our country.  So others does not care about it.  

                         There are urgent need for external emotional support to prevent suicide cases.      But who will take the responsibility?   I think, social security from the government is an urgent need to prevent such cases.  

                         10th September of every year was marked for 'World Suicide Prevention Day' but how many people know about it?  We have to make a suicide prevention & intervention strategies  to meet the needs of  different walks of society.  Here are urgent need to develop & implement of 'national plan' to prevent growing suicide cases.                 

Bihar flood " National Shame"

Every year Bihar comes under flood water. This time Kosi river breached its banks. Whole Bihar under flood water. Mostly eastern part of Bihar badly affected. Millions of people leaved their homes for safer places. Biharis lost their all belongings of life earned during their whole life.

P.M. of India Dr. Manmohan Singh expressed its a ' national loss' . Oppossition leader L.K. Advani demanded 'declare Bihar as 'national disaster'.

But question is what we have done in last 60 years. Several P.M.s & thousands Union Ministers from Bihar's chaired powerful post. But what Bihar' face changed? Thousands of Bihari's leaves their homes every year. Their houses flattened every year. Their hard earned money lost. Thousands of Bihari's died.

Only to declare 'compensation' for their lives? What is it only duty of our leaders to declare compensation? No need to do anything or responsibility for our leaders? Why does not we treat its a "national shame" for our leaders.

COUNTRY UNDER ISLAMIC TERROR STRUCK

Hi, my countrymen. During writing this post, there are continuous reports that live bombs are being found in diamond city Surat as well as live bombs in Rajasthan. Whole country under threat from Islamic militants organizations.

Peoples of the country are well aware that terrorists targeting cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Varanasi, Kolkatta. There are complete panic in these cities after Ahmedabad serial bomb blasts.

Islamic terrorism is a "proxy war" against India.

Our intelligence are in dark ? There are no leads so far. Several names emerged like Huji, SIMI, Lashkar, ISI but no confirmation from the Intelligence Agency.

Islamic militants has set up units in Indian cities like recruitment, training, funding & operations. Their brothers in India are helping hands for safe hideouts, storage of explosives, transporation of weapons & safe running from India after hitting.

Is Indian territory ends at Srinagar

Till today at least 3 people have been killed & hundreds injured as anger grows over transfer of 40 acre forest land to a Hindu Trust Amarnath Shrine Board. Protests continued in Srinagar since Monday which lead to closure of shops, schools, offices, banks. Even Amarnath pilgrims were forced to discontunue their journey to Amarnath Holy Shrine.

All are going in Indian territory and govt. failed to protect the life & security of the pilgirms & trouble free holy journey. A colition partner of J&K government, PDP comes out from the govt. & withdrew their support from the Congress govt. in J&K.

PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti told the Press & Media over transfer of land "conspiracy to settle non-local Hindus in the valley with a view to reducing the Muslims to a minority".

The Govt. says the "land is needed for construction of pre-fabricated huts & toilets for the pilgrims".

Continuous one week violent demonstration brought back the memories of 1989 that swept the whole Kashmir under "Separatist Insurgency & anti-India protests."

Government of SC/ST/OBC & Minority

Union Govt. of India decided to clear backlog of OBC in Central services treating as "separate & distinct group" to avoid Indira Sahni case where Supreme Court of India prescribed limit 50% quota for reservation.

As being a citizen of India I thinks that special attention only to SC/ST/OBC & Minority. Why ? Others citizen of India are not covered under the Indian constitution. There are several casts in India are socially & educationally as wellas economically backward.

Why not any special attention to the deprived people of India. Why not any scheme for economic weaker people of India. Why not any "grant in aid scheme" to the other cast except as stated above.

Are other casts of the Great India not citizen of India? Are they have ''second grade" position in the country.

Left hijacked national interest

Over Nuclear deal with US, Indians are fed up with the attitute of Left Parties supporting UPA in Centre. PM Dr. Manmohan Singh trying every efforts to get green signal from Left Parties.

Now people of India thinks that Left opposing Nuclear Deal because it is with US. People of country in various e-mails stated that Left hijacking national interest by opposing Nuclear deal with US. Another e-mail warned Left "not to behave like 'terrorists'".

Someone viewed their views that Left will not get even 15 Lok Sabha seats in any future election.

RESERVATIONS WILL DEVIDE INDIA INTO PIECES

35 killed by police firing & army deployed to control Gujjar agitation demanding ST status in reservation. Six month ago, nearly 25 killed in Gujjar agitation. What going on india? Last 5 days in Rajasthan, neither train route nor road route available for journey. All things are going in the name of reservations. If we continue silent, the politicians of India will cut INDIA into pieces for their vote bank politics. If we could not relialize, politicians will burn the great INDIA. Politicians of this country will create a river of blood for 'KURSI'.

Be aware from the greedy politicians. Shunt out these politicians from India.

Corruption in Indian Leaders

Akhilesh Das, ex. Union Minister of India, who owns a chain of educational institutions & hotel in residential area in Uttar Pradesh has been charged by the ruling congress party of India stating tha ' The people have the right to know as to how akhilesh das was able to amass huge wealth during a short span of 10 to 12 years'.

But the question is Mr. Das was the Union Minister of India since formation of Congress government in Central. No question was raised against Mr. Das by the Congress during the posting as Union Minister in Dr. Manmohan Singh's cabinet.

As we being citizen of India wants to know the truth behind all things.

S.C. allowed 27% OBC quota in higher education but creamy layer debarred

The five Judges Constitution Bench of The Supreme Court of India headed by Chief Justice K.G. Balakrishnan has allowed 27% reservation for OBD in higher education institutions disallowing creamy layer earning 2.50 lakhs annual income and more.
Justice Balakrishnan observed 'Hindu Community basically based on caste system and it should be accepted by us.'
Here is to point out that creamy layer formula would not apply in SC/ST reservation. Minority institutions would be out of purview of this judgement.
S.C. observed that 93rd amendment in the Constitution of India does not violate the fundamental structure of the Constitution.
The decision of the Supreme Court of India would facilitate the OBC students who desire to seek admission in higher education like IITs, IIMs, AIIMS etc.
